The Dawning Road
"Ride at dawn. Any bike. Any road. Any distance. The hour matters more than the miles."
The Declaration
Before the sun is fully above the horizon, you must be moving. Wheels on road, path, trail, or track — any surface, any bicycle. Ride until you feel the day begin. There is no minimum distance. There is no required speed. There is only the obligation of being present at the hour of dawning.
You may ride alone. You may ride with others. You may ride somewhere beautiful or somewhere plain. The Order does not judge geography. The Order judges only the hour.
Proof Required
- A photo or video showing your bike in pre-dawn or dawn light (sky visible preferred)
- Post to Instagram with @bikequests tagged
- Use the hashtag #bikequest
- Caption or description stating the quest name: "The Dawning Road"
Bonus Deed (+5 pts)
Capture a photo specifically of the sun breaking the horizon with your bike in frame. Not a glow. Not an almost. The actual sun. The Order will know.
Deadline
✦ After expiry, this quest moves to Archive status and earns half points only.
Posting Your Proof
Post your proof to Instagram. Tag @bikequests in the post or caption. Include #bikequest as a hashtag. Your account must be public (at least temporarily) so the Order can witness your deed.
